Gloop I (2019) - Ian Clester Performed by FaMLE, The MIT Laptop Ensemble Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Inspired by early minimalism and recent network music, "Gloop I" s a three-part piece built around recording, sharing, and remixing small sonic moments. The instrument for this piece, the Glooper (as in “Group Looper”), was built using WEB TECHNOLOGIES. It allows ensemble members to record loops and playback each other’s recordings, controlling playback speed, position, and volume.
